Shantha BOT Students Attend Hands-on Workshop on Hand Splinting Organized by Heritage City College

Students from Occupational Therapy actively participated in an intensive Workshop on Hand Splinting (hands‑on practice) hosted by Heritage City College. The event focused on empowering future therapists with practical exposure to various splinting techniques essential for hand rehabilitation.
The inaugural ceremony was marked by invocation, lamp lighting, and insightful addresses by eminent dignitaries including Dr. U. T. Ifthikar Ali, Dr. Sridhar D., Mr. Dineshkumar T. (HOD), and A. B. Ibrahim (Retd. IAS), who emphasized the relevance of hands‑on clinical skill development in allied health sciences.
The workshop featured four technical sessions covering splint design, fabrication, and application for various upper limb conditions. Shantha BOT students immersed themselves in each session, applying theoretical concepts in a real‑time, clinical learning environment.
