Position Description:
The Lecturer in the Department of Nursing will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and training to students. The role involves teaching undergraduate students, developing course materials, and participating in academic research. The Lecturer will also engage in community outreach programs and support the overall development of the department.
Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) with a relevant specialization.
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience post-Masters.
- Registered with the relevant nursing council.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures and conduct practical sessions for undergraduate students.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, including lecture notes, study guides, and laboratory manuals.
- Conduct assessments and examinations, and provide timely feedback to students.
- Engage in scholarly research and contribute to academic publications.
- Provide academic counselling and mentorship to students, helping them with their academic and career goals.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Assist in organizing and conducting workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance student learning and professional development.
